Don’t be surprise if some of the under 18 and 19 players from Powerade Super Deans finals tomorrow will be included in the Fiji Airways Mens 7s squad.

National 7s coach Gareth Baber has revealed today that he will be looking for some young wingers and rovers at the Deans finals tomorrow.

Baber said he’s after wingers and rovers who understands the game.

He added Fiji have a lot of good halfbacks but they are not good rovers.

Baber who was a chief guest at the Jai Narayan College Day earlier today with Fiji 7s Manager Jone Niurua said he identified some players last year and he will be on the look out again for more tomorrow.

‘I saw some players last year but few of them went overseas but I will head down to the Deans tomorrow and also will be going to some local 7s tournaments as well’, Baber said.

Meanwhile, the national 7s squad will march into camp later this month to prepare for the 2018/2019 World 7s Series.
