Ratu Kadavulevu School has created another historical sporting achievement.

Yesterday the Ratu Kadavulevu School under 18 side defeated Saint Augustine College from Australia 24-21 in the 2nd semifinal of the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament in Japan.

In doing so, RKS became the first Fijian school to reach the final of the tournament.

Prior to that, RKS had the best record in the tournament after they reached the semifinal back in 2002, a feat no other school in Fiji had achieved until yesterday when they beat one of the best from Australia.

On Wednesday, RKS defeated South African schoolboys champion Framesby High School 14-7 in the quarterfinal.

RKS will take on Hastings Boys High School in the final at 5pm today.
