Animals Fiji’s now has 4 operational clinics providing full-time Veterinary Services in Nadi, Lautoka, Labasa and Savusavu.
With their mission on improving the welfare of all Animals and helping build a society without Animal Cruelty, is gaining momentum in many communities in the country.
However Organization-Co-Founder-Casey Quimby says more needs to be done to create Awareness in the community especially with their Desexing Program.
She says with the current issue of Stray Animals in the country, the actual scientific way to deal with the problem effectively is through the Desexing Program and hopes they can offer their consultation services on Animal Welfare to various stakeholders in the country.
She also spoke on their various out reach programs currently undertaken in the North and in Levuka. With about 25 Outreach Programs conducted across Fiji.
Since its Establishment in 2012, they now have 16 full-time staff and 8 part-time staff operating in all their 4 clinics in the country and owners can now seek treatment for their Pets, Livestock, and wild-life animals.
Animals Fiji is always seeking assistance from interested individuals and Stakeholders to help support their work. Their Nadi Clinic functions as a Shelter taking in stray, injured and abused animals that are treated and Re-Homed
