More statistics have been released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions on recorded crime.
There were 77 people charged with a total of 73 counts of separate incidents in June.
The month of June data highlighted incidents of serious crimes other than sexual violence offences which are recorded and published separately.
The offences ranged from attempted murder ,aggravated robbery,attempted aggravated burglary , aggravated burglary theft and dangerous driving causing death to name a few.
There were 49 victims of the 73 counts of separate incidents.
Of the 49 victims, there were 5 incidents where the accused and victims were related to one another and 1 incident where a Chinese national was allegedly robbed of one thousand two hundred cash at knife point.
Statistics also showed a 56 year old man charged with two counts of attempted murder.
He allegedly struck his defacto wife and step-daughter with a cane knife.
There were three incidents of unlawful wounding.
In one of these three incidents, a 20 year old college prefect was charged for allegedly smashing a ceramic bowl on a 16-year-old pupil.
There was one incident where 5 men were charged with an act with intent to cause grievous harm after they attacked a police officer who tried to stop an aggravated robbery incident.
Three juveniles were also charged with aggravated robbery offences.
