The 48th Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Conference in Pagopago, American Samoa brings together Chiefs and Commissioners from the PICP’s 21 Member countries to discuss about drugs in the region.
Discussions features emerging crime trends in the Pacific and harnessing a collaborative approach towards addressing Policing Issues in the Region.
The Commissioner of Police, Brig. Gen. Sitiveni Qiliho is leading a Fiji Police Delegation including the Senior Superintendent of Police Ulaiasi Ravula and Staff Officer Inspector of Police Aisake Kafoa to this conference.
Fiji Chair of the PICP Women’s Advisory Network Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP. Ruci Nasemira is also in attendance where the 2019 PICP WAN Conference has recently ended.
Also in attendance is the President of INTERPOL and President of IACP, UN Agencies, and Law Enforcement Partners in the Pacific Region
The conference with the theme “Preventing Drug Harm Within our Communities” ends tomorrow.
