A 43 year old woman will be re-produced at the Nausori Magistrates Court, charged with being in possession of illicit drugs.
On the 26th of June her home was searched by the Eastern Division Taskforce – after information was received of her alleged involvement, in the illicit drug trade.
Police found a clear bag containing dried leaves and a white substance – which later tested positive to be marijuana and methamphetamine.
She was charged with two counts of “possession of illicit drugs”, one for the marijuana find, and one count for the methamphetamine find.
She was produced at the Nausori Magistrates Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody, where she will be brought to court again today.
