Goundar Shipping Ltd welcomed the Lomaiviti Princess nine at Narain Jetty in Suva today.
The $FJD2 Million ship can cater up to 500 passengers per travel and Company Director George Goundar says this fleet will be servicing the Natuvu-Nabouwalu route.
Goundar told Fiji One News today that the Lomaiviti Princess nine is part of the four fleets coming to improve sea travel services for all its passengers in the rural and maritime areas.
It took the Mongolian State in Asia four days to assess and pass the Lomaiviti Princess nine.
This cost the company a total of $USD4 thousand dollars which is approximately $FJD8559.
A total of 260 employees are currently employed in its current service .
However the new inclusion of fleets will see 100 Fijians finding employment.
