The Fijian delegation to the 2018 Melanesian Arts and Cultural Festival in Honiara, Solomon Islands is performing well and in high spirits.
Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs and Fijian head of delegation to the 2018 Melanesian Arts and Cultural Festival, Naipote Katonitabua said that the Fijian delegation continues to draw attention from the crowd.
“I am proud of the passion that the Fijian delegation has. Some of the groups are performing twice or three times a day and I must commend them for continuing to showcase their talents at the highest level despite humid weather conditions,” PS Katonitabua said.
“It is satisfactory to see that before a performance by the Fijian delegation, there is applause from the crowd.”
The Fiji booths which showcase Fijian artifacts and handicrafts also receive a lot of visitors.
