A 19year old man residing at Viria Road who was apprehended by his victim during an early morning robbery on Sunday has been charged. 

The accused allegedly entered the victim’s home at Beach Road in Suva Point with another suspect and was ransacking the house when the victim woke up. 

The 27year old victim found the two in the sitting room and found one allegedly wearing his watch. 

While the other suspect managed to flee the scene,  the 19year old was overpowered by the 27year old victim who had a black belt in hapkido. 

The victim taped the accused’s hands and legs before alerting Police. 

The accused has been charged with aggravated burglary and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
