The Fiji Dental Association today received a timely sponsorship donation of $5,000 from Motibhai Group – distributors of Wrigley chewing gums in Fiji ahead of their Annual Conference that will be held early next month at the Holiday Inn.

The Wrigley Oral Healthcare Program  partners with dental professionals worldwide, helping them improve their patients’ oral health through one additional simple and enjoyable step in their daily routine: chewing sugar-free gum after eating and drinking.

Motibhai Group marketing manager Abraham Gomes says the partnering of their Wrigley brand sugar-free gums with FDA will make it better recognized by many and also create awareness that sugar-free chewing gums literally helps improve oral health and prevent oral diseases.

Gomes says Chewing sugar-free gum is just one way to help keep teeth clean and healthy and is proven to benefit dental health as it helps neutralize plaque acids.

He said the donation together with product giveaways will add value and strengthen the core objective and functions of the FDA.

Fiji Dental Association President- Dr. Vikash Singh is thankful for the timely sponsorship and the continued support from the organization.

The theme for this year’s meeting will be: “Meeting oral health care demands through innovations in dental science.

About 100 people are expected to be part of the event with a group of highly reputable  speakers from the Dental Academics and Practitioners from overseas along with their fellow local counterparts.
