A woman who was a passenger in a private vehicle died following a motor vehicle accident yesterday afternoon.
The alleged incident occurred at the Caubati Road Junction.
It is alleged the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a taxi which was heading towards Nausori.
The 53 year old victim passed away at the scene of the accident.
Both the drivers of the vehicle and three passengers were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital Hospital they remain admitted in critical condition.
Investigations continue.
