The whole of Fiji should now prepare for Tropical Cyclone Mona based on its current movement as there is a possibility that it could it could track towards Vanua Levu and Viti Levu.

There is a possibility of TC Mona making a landfall over Vanua Levu on Sunday night.

Tropical cyclone ‘Mona’ has continued to intensify and has been upgraded to a ‘category 2’ tropical cyclone as of 10am today.

TC Mona remains to the northwest of the country – and has gradually picked up speed in the las 24 hours.

Close To The Centre, The 10 Minute Average Winds Is Estimated To Be About 95Km/Hr With Momentary Gusts To 130Km/Hr.

Mona Is Moving South-Southwest At F Of F Of About 15Km/Hr.
