The Water Authority of Fiji customers living in the Nausori, Dilkusha, Tailevu South and the Rewa Delta areas – will have water supply disruptions to their homes.

This will commence from 6am Sunday morning January 13th, to 6am Monday morning, the 14th of January.

The interruption in supply is a result of commissioning works, of the DN375 Trunk Main Duplication Project, at Duilomaloma Road near the Waila Treatment Plant.

During the shutdown, there will be minimal interruption in major services such as – hospitals and the airport, as well as essential services, and 30 water carting trucks, will be deployed.

Customers are advised to store at least 200 litres of water, for drinking and cooking purposes.

More water should be stored for bathing, washing dishes, and other purposes.
