Such sentiments are common for the Walesi teams who have been visiting remote villages to provide Walesi television services to the communities.
Walesi has recently completed its community installation drive in the provinces of Macuata and Cakaudrove whereby Seventy Eight village community halls were provided with free Walesi installation.
Walesi’s primary mandate is to provide free-to-air digital television services to all Fijians.
Eight free-to-air channels once the deployment of Walesi services is completed. Moreover, 100% of Fiji is covered by satellite based direct-to-home signal which also provides the same Eight free-to-air channels.
Walesi has so far also provided free installations in more than three hundred remote communities in the provinces of Ba, Bua, Kadavu, Lau, Lomaiviti, Nadroga, Namosi, Ra, Rewa, Rotuma, Tailevu.
