Water Authority of Fiji is continuing to carry out urgent repairs to the collapsed sewer trunk situated at the Nabua Bus stop along Ratu Mara Road.

“We are working closely with the Fiji Roads Authority contractors to rectify the issue as soon as possible,” said WAF Chief Executive Officer, Barry Omundson.

Works to backfill the excavation will commence as soon as possible, before the beginning of the academic term, if weather permits.

“We urge motorists to be mindful of this section of the road along Ratu Mara Road in Nabua (towards Suva City) as one of the two lanes will be temporarily closed to allow us to carry out the urgent repairs.”

The Authority also requests that the travelling public be mindful of the workers who will be working in the area.
