Nasinu coach Tagi Vonolagi believes his young brigades will be out to create a major upset this weekend when they face the current Vodafone Premier League point table leaders and Punjas BOG title winner Rewa in the VPL fixture at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday.
“We hope to give our neighbors a good game and will iron our mistakes from Lautoka match and will try to do our best against the Delta Tigers,”
“Rewa is a very good team, they have depth with quality players and good coach and they work a lot on technical areas but we have our strength also and we hope to counter Rewa on their style of play and we hope come Sunday it will be a very good game for the two neighbors,” said Vonolagi
The former national team captain and goalkeeper urged Nasinu fans to come out in numbers and support the team.
“I urge fans to come out and support the boys which will be a boost to them,”
Rewa Head Coach Marika Rodu said the giant-killers will pose a threat to them.
“I saw their game last weekend. They were fast but sometimes not accurate, and they can still pose a threat to us if we are disorganized.”
The Rewa vs Nasinu match will kick off at 2pm this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori while Navua will host Labasa on Saturday at 7pm at Uprising Sports Facilities in Pacific Harbour, Suva will host Ba at ANZ Stadium in Suva at 3pm while Nadi and Lautoka will battle at the same time at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Sunday.
