Fiji Television Limited today announced a partnership agreement that cements the Vanuaso 7s tournament on its free to air channel.
Negotiation started last month and the deal was signed today for the first ever Vanuaso 7s tournament that offers the first prize money of 10 thousand dollars.
The second day of the games will be broadcast live on Fiji One on 23rd of February.
Vanuaso 7s committee excited about the agreement which will see their tournament reach a new height in its first season as it will not be only broadcast here in Fiji but streamed overseas.
Fiji Television Limited Chief Executive Officer Karen Lobendahn says the agreement will allow to strengthen its commitment to the sport and the organising committee for having the trust in them.
The contract will see Fiji TV hold the exclusive broadcast rights for the Vanuaso 7s.
32 teams will compete in the Vanuaso 7s tournament that will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on 22nd and 23rd of February.
