The vanua of Nasautoka is mourning the loss of its great Chief Ratu Semi Bayameyame Seruvakula, Na Turagasau and Tui Nasautoka who passed away at his residence in Sevua Place, Nadera on Tuesday 4th of December.
The Turagasau died at the age of 85 years following a short illness.
The people of Nasautoka are saddened by his passing as he was a leader who passionately championed I-Taukei culture and protocols, believed in discipline and a respected member of the teaching fraternity and had dedicated his life to that of serving the people of his vanua and the Province of Tailevu and also to his beloved nation.
The reguregu will commence at Nasautoka village on Wednesday 12th December and the Thanksgiving service to commemorate the life of the late Na Turagasau and Tui Nasautoka will be held on Thursday 13th December in his village.
Ratu Semi Bayameyame Seruvakula is survived by his wife Raijeli Seruvakula 3 sons one whom is Col Rt Viliame Seruvakula former CO 3 FIR now employed under the UN and 5 daughters and 14 grandchildren.
