The University of the South Pacific, has cancelled all official travel by university staff and students, to mainland China.
This also includes travel that requires transiting through mainland China – including Hong Kong.
The University is advising students and staff returning from Mainland China – to seek medical attention, and be cleared by local medical authorities before reporting to work or study, in their respective campus.
With no vaccine available for the coronavirus, self-quarantine of affected persons is advised, under the monitoring and supervision of medical authorities .
This advisory will remain in place – until further notice.
