The Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy Suva and U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Munro crew took part in community service events while docked in Suva last week.

Their first visit was at the St. Christopher’s Home, 20 crew members spent their time cleaning the compound and even fixing a broken fence.
The crew also did a beach clean-up at the Lami foreshore which is popular with families.

Crew Member- Carli Carnes said their U.S. crew, pride themselves on giving back to communities in whichever way they can and are grateful for the experience in Fiji.

About 150 Personnel were on board the US Coast Cutter Munro that departed Suva on Sunday.
