The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise customers living in elevated parts of Samabula and Laucala Bay as well as surrounding areas in Suva that they may experience intermittent supply of water from 10 pm Saturday (01/08) to 8 am Sunday (02/08).

Affected Areas Include:
 Rewa Street
 Kikau Road
 Ruve Street
 Sese Street
 Lekutu Street
 Rose Place
 Nailuva Road
 Cheng Place
 McFarlane Road
 Rakoroi Road
 Ritova Road
 Matanitobua Street
 Belo Street
 Raisara Road
 Albert Lee Road
 Howell Road
 Ratu Mara Road
 Lower Ono Street
 Munia Street
The temporary interruption in water supply is to allow WAF ground teams to carry out urgent repairs to a burst watermain along Ratu Mara Road, preventing further major water disruptions.

The Authority advises customers residing in the areas above to use water wisely and to store water for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water carting trucks are on standby to service the affected areas during the temporary disruption period.

WAF urges customers to conserve and always store sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least two to three days in their homes at all times.

WAF also encourages customers to invest in storage containers or water tanks connected to the water system for storage and backup supply during any unplanned disruption that may arise due to emergency works or natural disasters.

WAF apologise for any inconvenience caused and we seek your understanding and patience until such time supplies normalize.
