The University of Fiji hosted a successful Student Orientation Day at the Saweni Campus on Monday, February 3 and at Samabula Campus on February 4, 2020.

with time as it did for her when she was a freshman.

“The first week may seem
difficult, it gets better during the second week and only gets better and
better.  The first semester isalways the
hardest, the second semester becomes better. The first year is the most
difficult, the second year can be exhilarating and so empowering and thereon
you are the maker of your dreams,” she stated.

Fiji had students at the centre of its heart.

students. Therefore, this is not a University per say, it is your family and
your home away from home,” she mentioned.

most of their time at the University; to make friends and be sociable; to study
hard and do things that are meaningful to them;
to embrace diversity and the many differences in people and uphold values.
