Two women in their 40s sustained serious injuries when the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the Nabou stretch of road causing it to land in a creek.

The two women from Galoa Village, Serua were travelling in the vehicle driven by a 21year old when it is alleged he fell asleep causing it to veer of the road and tumbled into in a creek near a bridge at Nabou.

The alleged incident occurred early this morning.

The driver is in stable condition while the two women are reported to be in serious condition.

Investigations continue.
