Two high school students were today recognized as the supreme award winners for their award winning entries into the New Zealand- Fiji 2018 secondary schools essay competition.

Ipa-elen Rota from Nakasi high school and Uzma Azmil from Nadi Musilm school each were presented as prizes an I pad each and five hundred dollars.

New Zealand high commission to Fiji Jonathan Curr congratulated the 10 students for their impressive writing skills.

Curr says that the 2018 essay topic asked students to reflect on New Zealand – Fiji relations, Curr says they delivered excellently.

The competition adjudicators were Lady Jane June Hillary wife of the late Sir Edmund Hillary and Dr Satendra Singh co chair of he Fiji Association of Auckland.
