The Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu arrived on the island of Kadavu yesterday ahead of the Kadavu Provincial Council meeting which he will officially open this morning.
A/CP Tudravu also took time to visit the Police Special Response Unit[PSRU] team who are conducting drug operations on the island.
He thanked the officers for the work conducted on the War on Drugs on the island and emphasized the importance of carrying out their duties with integrity.
The Acting Commissioner has been invited to officially open the Kadavu Provincial Council meeting today in Tavuki Village in light of the increasing reports of drug cultivation on the island over the past year.
