Triathlete Hayden Wilde has convincingly won Athletics New Zealand’s cross country challenge in Dunedin.
Wilde has finished more than a minute clear of his nearest rival at the Chisholm Links golf course.
Up and coming 1500m runner Sam Tanner has finished second, with Oli Chignell third.
Eva Goodisson has won the women’s race.
The event was originally the national championship but its status was changed as some athletes were unable to take part due to the Auckland region remaining at Alert Level 3.
