Three Fiji Airways National 7s team players have been nominated for the World Rugby Sevens Rookie of the Year 2019.
All three are having a good season with the National 7s team as they hope to win the World Series title in Paris this weekend.
Meli Derenalagi and Aminiasi Tui-maba are the front runners to win the Rookie of the Year Award.
Derenalagi was also named the HSBC Player of the Final in London last weekend.
Tui-maba has also been outstanding on the wing while the other Fijian player nominated is Vilimoni Botitu.
Samoa’s Johnny Va-ili is the fourth player on the nominees list.
The winner will be announced at the HSBC World Rugby 7s awards on Monday after the Paris 7’s tournament.
