Three staff of the Bank of the South Pacific had their hair shaved for a very good cause- to raise awareness on childhood cancer.

The public shaving of advocates was witnessed by over 50 people at the BSP Suva Central Food Court yesterday.

“The future of humanity depends on what we do in the present, ” said Clement Kumar.

Kumar, one of the three staff and advocates that had his hair shaved to raise awareness and show support for Cancer patients in the country.

Another advocate Mereseini Delai says as a mother of three she never thought twice about putting her hair on the line for a very good cause.

BSP Fiji also handed over a cheque donation of $20,000 to WOWS Kids Fiji.

WOWS Kids Fiji Founder Sina Kami in her emotional address says its not easy to agree to have your hair shaved and she thanked BSP for their continuous support.

August was the month dedicated to raise awareness on childhood cancer in the country and BSP in past five year has donated over $100,000 to WOWS Kids Fiji.
