Meanwhile – The Rugby Academy Fiji side has stepped up their preparations in New Zealand, ahead of the World School 7s Tournament.

The tournament kicks off tomorrow with the best teams from New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Canada, Samoa and Tonga – taking part.

A ‘New Zealand-Fijians’ team, is also part of the tournament.

Rugby Academy Fiji Director – Seremai Bai, who is also in New Zealand with the team said, they could not have done it without the support of the players parents, families and friends.

Bai also thanked local company – S Nagindas, for sponsoring the team and management’s Knapsacks.

Fiji is in pool A with the Samoan Barbarians, hosts New Zealand, and the Cook Islands.

They will play their first match against New Zealand at 8:54am on Friday.
