Prime Minister -Voreqe Bainimarama has hailed former Education Minister, the late Filipe Bole as a modern day statesman and someone who was the best advisor the country could afford during his time of service.
Bainimarama made these remarks in a moving eulogy to farewell one of Fiji’s prominent sons at the Wesley Mission Church in Suva today. The Service was attended by Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials.
The late former Minister according to Prime Minister Bainimarama was a great motivator and advisor to him and his Government and has left behind a great legacy for the country.
Bole, who hails from the village of Mualevu, Vanua Balavu in Lau passed away at the age of 83.
