The Tavua Farmer’s Co-operative Association Ltd has made a total payout of $38,250 to members as a form of assistance in response to COVID-19.
Chairman, Chandra Sen confirmed the main objective of the co-operative is to maintain and lease out a co-operative owned real estate located in Tavua town for income.
The #Coop was registered in 1969, retailing groceries for citizens of Tavua town. Today, the real estate leased out by the co-operative houses a bank, restaurant and a hydrau link hose company to name a few.
