A taskforce has been set up to look into the alleged disappearance of a British citizen Lydia O’Sullivan in Fiji as widely reported internationally.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Biu Matavou says they
managed to confirm her last sighting in a hotel in the Western Division and that she already checked out.

He adds as of today no missing person’s report has been lodged at any Police Station around Fiji.

Divisional Police Commanders are also assisting in their respective areas of operation.

The public can call Crime Stoppers on 919 if you can assist in locating O’Sullivan or have any information that can assist in this matter.
