The Fiji Police Force is once again advising the members of the Public to be more Vigilant during this Festive Season.

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Maretino Qiolevu says if Parents and Guradians don’t take up the Responsibility of looking after their Children, Police can take Action.

“Our advice to Guardians and Parents during this school holidays, I think we need to take care of your children make sure you know where their whereabouts, their movements from Point A to Point B especially coming out to Suva as you all know there has been a rise in the number of children roaming around the city especially in the night, and also if you’re not careful then we may might have to take you parents to task. Therefore its very important during this Festive Season.” said ACP Maretino Qiolevu.

Members of the Public are also advised to drink Responsibly and not to consume beyond their limit.

“Drink responsibly, do not consume beyond your limit as we all know there’s has been an incident in the past few years that people are just lying around, individuals was seen lying in the middle of the road unconscious because of over consumption of Liquor. So therefore for the people out there, citizens of Fiji if you’re enjoying Christmas and New Year please drink Responsibly,” said ACP Maretino Qiolevu.
