The Flow Valves/ Island Accommodation sponsored Suva team will not leave any stone unturned in their preparation for the semi-finals of the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants tournament.
Coach Babs Khan said they would need to work much harder in training this week and work on all their mistakes before taking on Nadi on Saturday.
After their 1-0 win over Ba which saw them qualify for the semis, Khan said they really lifted their game and played with more urgency.
“We had to beat Ba at any cost to qualify for the semifinals. I am happy that we managed to achieve that but the real hard work will begin now.”
“After a full day of rest and recovery, the players will hit back to training. We will also have some video analysis and blackboard coaching to mentally prepare the boys for the challenge against Nadi.”
“We have a very good squad with a lot of depth and options to choose from. I have fielded most of the players in the pool matches and will decide on my best 11 later in the week. I want to give all players to prove their worth in training before selecting the final team for the semifinals,” he added.
Suva will meet All in One Builders (NZ) sponsored- Nadi in the second semifinal at 4pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
