The Fiji Rugby Union, Suva Rugby and Navy are mourning the loss of former Flying Fijians.
Suva Rugby Union this morning announced that Alefoso Yalayalatabua had passed away suddenly.
A minute of silence was also observed during the Suva Rugby Union club competition opening at Bidesi Park today.
Yalayalatabua played for the Flying Fijians as a prop and also represented Suva and Navy rugby teams.
Yalayalatabua was first capped for Fiji, on 19 May 2007, aged 30, in a 3-8 loss to Samoa.
He was in the Fiji squad at the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals, playing a single game, in the 12-55 loss to Australia.
He had 10 caps for his national side, without ever scoring.
