A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LAND AREAS OF YASAWA GROUP, KADAVU AND NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS, VANUA LEVU, TAVEUNI AND NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS, NORTHERN PARTS OF VITI LEVU, CORAL COAST TO PACIFIC HARBOR AND LAU AND LOMAIVITI GROUP.
A trough of low pressure remains slow moving to the north of Fiji. The associated cloud and rain affects the northern parts of Fiji.
Meanwhile, a moist easterly wind flow prevails over the group. Tropical Disturbance TD01F [1004HPA] was located near 11.6S 174.6W 12am today.
TD01F is currently moving west-northwest towards Rotuma at 10km/hr.
While TD01F is expected to track to the north of the group by Friday, associated rain bands and strong winds is expected to affect Fiji.

Easterly winds with average wind speeds upto 46km/hr and gusting to 55km/hr. Occasional rain and isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands. Isolated heavy falls likely.

Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the eastern parts and interior of Viti Levu [Rakiraki through Nausori to Navua]. Isolated heavy falls likely.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods with brief showers and possible isolated afternoon or evening thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
