The Western Council of Special and Inclusive Educators (WESTCOSI) has been commended for enabling an inclusive sporting program for Fijian children with special needs.
Minister for Sports Parveen Kumar opened the WESTCOSI Annual Games in Sigatoka yesterday.
“By interacting with fellow citizens with special needs, you’ll have others to give you encouragement when you need it, as well as to hold you accountable to your goals, and you’ll be motivated by seeing each other’s goals,” he said.
The WESTCOSI is being held for three-days at Lawaqa Park.
