Executives and
officials of sporting bodies in the country came together at the Vodafone Arena
to discuss ways for a Safe Return to Sports in future.

Organisations also
shared ideas about how to improve once the greenlight for sports to resume is
given.

The Fiji National
Sports Commission organised workshop for a safe return to sports was a success.

14 sporting bodies
that took part in the one-day workshop participated with interest.

All sporting bodies
in the country will now need to align with the commission’s guidelines and
protocols.

The new norm is
important to achieve a Sport Safe Fiji campaign.

The workshop also
stressed the need to constantly educate athletes and to adhere to the safety
guidelines issued by the National Sports Commission.

The workshop also
discussed different scenarios to get sports moving again.

Sports will most likely return next month.
