Archbishop of Catholic Church in Fiji, Peter Loy Chong met with Pope Francis after the Oceania Catholic Bishops audience with the Pope.
In a statement the head of the Catholic Church in Fiji said that he is blessed to once again meet Pope Francis after the Oceania Catholic Bishops audience with the Pope.
The Archbishop gave a brief report on how the Bishops of Oceania plan to be a prophetic voice for the island people.
Pope Francis wanted their meeting to be like a talanoa or conversation session.
According to theArchbishop Pope Francis was in a joyful mood-engaged energetically with them, smiling, telling short stories here and there.
He added that the Catholic Church have a down to earth human Pope and they should continue to support and pray for Pope Francis leadership and vision
