The 2019 South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE), the largest Business to Business event organised by the South Pacific Tourism Organisation starts next week in Auckland, New Zealand.
South Pacific Tourism Organisation Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Cocker said the event will give sellers from the Pacific Islands an opportunity to showcase their products at international level.
The aim of the event is to also attract tourist to Pacific Islands, generate business but at the same time promote sustainable development.
62 international buyers from 14 countries and 94 sellers from 17 Pacific Island countries will be present at the sixth South Pacific Tourism Exchange from the 9 to 10 of May.
The theme for the SPTE is “Sustainable Tourism Development-through people to people connectivity.”
