SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka – is a free man after he was acquitted by the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.
The court found Rabuka not guilty of his charges.
In court today, Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa pointed out the prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt – that Rabuka’s failure to not declare was either deliberated or an oversight.
Rabuka was charged by FICAC for providing false declaration of Assets, Income and Liabilities, to the Supervisor of Elections.
Rabuka was represented by Queen Counsel Ian Lloyd, Filimone Vosarogo and Lynda Tabuya.
He will lead SODELPA into this year’s general elections.
