The SODELPA Party Board that met at the Holiday Inn will approach the Supervisor of Elections to hold the party AGM by September 27th this year.

The party statement signed by Acting President Vijay Singh stated that given the court ruling was only declared on April 23 of this year, and the Constitution requires an AGM before the 30th of June, the Board deliberated that constituencies would need at least 4 months to submit any motions they had before the Board met to clear them for discussions at the AGM.

The Board also discussed that there were now developments to do with the Party Constitution that required review, and as such, it would be impossible to comply with the June 30th deadline.
