Today is “World Suicide Prevention Day” – and is celebrated Worldwide with this year’s theme -“Working together to Prevent Suicide”.

The Suicide statistics from January until now stands at 70, with Attempted Suicide stands at 80 – according to a recent Police Report.

“Lifeline Fiji” is calling on all Fijians to wear “YELLOW” today, to show support and solidarity, for the lives we have lost to Suicide.

The National Crisis Help Line number is -132 454, and is always available 24/7, so if you’re going through a crisis, Remember there is always someone on the line to Listen.

“Lifeline Fiji” will be having a ‘Hope Walk’ and a ‘Vigil’ at Shirley Park in Lautoka, this Evening – so if you’re down in the west, come by to show your support.
