Rugby Academy of Fiji is hoping to go one better in the coming 2020 MacDonald Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament next week.

Rugby Academy Fiji Founder, Seremaia Bai said they will be fielding three teams compared to just one team last year where they bowed out in the pool stages.

“The team will also have the presence of players from Vanua Levu as they attempt to win the Youth and the Womens division title,” Bai said.

“The three teams will compete in the Womens and Youth Divisions.

“Rugby Academy Fiji recently returned from taking part in the World Schools Sevens, the Coral Coast 7s will be another opportunity for this young players to expose their talents.”

Whilst confident in their preparation and the quality of the squad, Bai expects the three teams not to have it all their own way at Lawaqa Park come next week.

He said while chasing a positive result for Rugby Academy Fiji, this group of players will also have the opportunity to earn national selection as selectors will be down scouting for players.
