There has been no complaints from any of the visiting delegates during the 52nd Asian Development Bank Meeting held this week in Nadi.

This was revealed by Police Chief Operation Officer-ACP Maretino Qiolevu today.

“So far the Security Operations went smoothly and all officers on the ground have carried out their task and roles effectively and successfully and there has been no complain from any of our visitors from abroad and there has been no complaints from anyone whatsoever in regards to our security operations”

Qiolevu says at the moment they will still continue with their operations until the last delegate departs Fiji.

“The security arrangements has been well above expectations and the arrangement was perfect it was world standard and I believe that all our visitors really do appreciate and  also realize how important this ADB meeting is to Fiji and the Police has a role in keeping them safe and secured while in the country. So at the moment we will still carry out our operations and it will complete when the last Delegate departs Fiji”

More than 400 Police officers were deployed for security operations for more than 2000 delegates at the ADB meet this week.
