The second day of Pre-poll has started this morning around the country.

This was for those in the interior of Viti Levu, those in the maritime areas, and also some of those who live in the North.

As of yesterday afternoon – most of the polling venues have recorded a good number of voters turnout.

While in some areas – the officials from the Fijian Election Office faced some problems, and it is expected that it will be improved today.

Today, 16,532 voters are expected to cast their votes, at 142 venues.

23 of these venues are in the Central Division, 47 in the Eastern Division, 30 in the North, and 42 in the Western Division.

“We are expecting 16 thousand 5 hundred and 32 voters to cast their votes for the pre-poll exercise today. Expected voter turnout in Central is 3, 328, Eastern is 4729, Northern is 6301 and Western Division at 4,974. We noticed that a few voters were late yesterday. Ladies and Gentlemen since it’s daylight saving, we invite voters to correct their watches and turn up to polling stations on time so that they do not miss out. The full schedule for pre-polling is available on their website and face-book pages and also been announced on radio stations, all day, everyday until pre-poll continues.
