An investment of over half a million dollars will benefit more than 100 people living in Dravuni Village, Tailevu.
This was highlighted by Prime Minister, Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama while commissioning the seawall project at Dravuni Village today.
“Whenever I visit a coastal community across Fiji I hear a common request, over and over again, they ask for a seawall, a humble request that shows the harsh reality of the world we live in today.”
“While it breaks my heart, it gives me renewed inspiration for my Government to do everything possible to help Fijian families adapt.”
Prime Minister Bainimarama added that the seawall is not only for the villages now but for those who come after them, to not only help them survive, but thrive.
