All political parties were required to submit their Statement of Assets and Liabilities to the Registrar of Political Parties by 14 October 2018, which is at least 30 days before the General Election.

The People’s Democratic Party has to date failed to submit its statement of assets and liabilities.

“The People’s Democratic Party has failed to submit their Audited Accounts as required by the Act. In compliance with the requirements under section 25(2) of the Act I hereby de-register People’s Democratic Party,” says Saneem.
