People attending the Samoa 2019 – 16th Pacific Games will have great opportunity to avoiding the use of plastic bottles or single use plastics.
The Samoa Pacific Games Organising Committee has already started with their green campaign- themed “Beautiful Samoa, Keep It Clean and Plastic Free”, a campaign that promotes the less use of disposable plastic bottles.
It aims to reduce the plastics that are polluting Samoa’s water ways, oceans, and villages.
Samoa is demonstrating Pacific leadership through a commitment to green the games by reducing consumption of single-use plastic and Styrofoam.
