The Fiji rugby community is mouring the loss of former 7s and 15s rep Lemeki Koroi.

Koroi played for the Wardens team in the local 7s competition and was part of the late Rupeni Ravonu coached side that won the Melrose Cup in 1997.

He played half-back in that team which had the likes of 7s maestro Waisale Serevi, Marika Vunibaka, Jope Tuikabe, Dan Qauqau, Manasa Bari and Luke Erenavula.

Erenavula in his social media account expressed his condolence for the passing away of Lemeki Koroi.

Koroi played for the Wardens with the likes of former 7s coach Josateki Savou, Filipe Tawayaga and Gabriel Naborisi.
